Egocentricism
These pages are all about the cranky, grumpy old fart who did these pages and most of the art here. So, if this sort of twaddle doesn't interest you, head on back and look at the pictures, they're probably a lot more interesting anyway.
I was born, and remain as yet, a citizen of Canada, that big bit of the world to the north of the
United States that hasn't become a state yet, for some reason. More specifically, I was born in Quebec, about 60 miles east of Montreal,
in a tiny little town called Stanbridge East. Don't bother looking for it. It's still there, but unless you have small-scale
topographical maps, you're not going to find it. Population of three hundred, and yes, back when I lived there I was related to most of
the town by marriage or bloodline. Interestingly, after a number of years, all of my direct family, save myself, are now once again
living within 100 miles of that very same town. In the intervening years, I've also lived in Montreal, and in Sunnyvale,
California, Plainfield, New jersey and lansdale, Pennsylvania.
Currently, I live just north of Dallas. I currently work as
management-level support-technician for a point-of-sale company.
Art, of course, is the love of my life. But a guy's gotta do more than just draw, right? So to show folks I'm more than just some loon who spends what little spare time he has hunkered over a drawing table, here are some links to a few of my other interests;
Home: A minor photo-essay with notes, on my parents, thier house and my home-town. This will hopefully slowly expand as I add other images that document my life in a little Townships town.
Militaria: Probably the most longstanding of my hobbies has been militaria - all the fiddly-bits that pertain to the art of War and life in the military. Armies have been around since time immemorial, so this is a pretty darned eclectic field, and can have something of interest for just about everyone.
Japanese Art and Animation: Very early on, I was struck by the difference of Japanese art and animation. Here's a look at some of the things I like, and some of the things I'm looking for.
The Toy Tank: A cute picture and some commentary about a local landmark in my area.
